The Cyclones hockey clinic is designed to develop core skills in young athletes, focusing on skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting through structured, high-repetition drills. Led by experienced coaches, the program emphasizes technique, confidence, and game awareness to help players elevate their performance in a fun, supportive environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age groups is the clinic designed for? Our clinic is open to boys and girls ages 10–18, with drills and instruction tailored to each age and skill level to ensure an appropriate developmental experience.
Are beginners welcome? Absolutely! We group players by skill level, so beginners receive foundational training while more advanced players are challenged with higher-level concepts.
Who are the coaches? Our coaching staff includes certified instructors, former collegiate/professional players, and experienced youth coaches passionate about player development.
What equipment is required? Full hockey gear is required, including helmet with cage, gloves, shin pads, shoulder pads, pants, elbow pads, stick, skates and neck guard. A mouthguard is highly recommended.
Is checking taught and allowed in the clinic? Yes, but only in age-appropriate groups (typically 12U and older). We focus on safe, controlled body contact and proper technique.
Can parents watch the sessions? Yes! Parents are welcome to observe from designated spectator areas. We encourage involvement and support, especially for younger players.
